Introducing the three hosts of The Sunday Diplomat’s Podcast Witness:
I’m Julia, an international student born in Boston, MA but studying in Beijing, China. I’ve grown with The Sunday Diplomat since April 2024: starting off as Senior Writer, Website Manager, and now Chief Operations Officer. As a global publication, we seek to dive deep into raw, unfiltered perspectives from every corner of the globe. I hope this new medium can add nuance to TSD’s spotlighting of stories unheard!
I’m Luna – Greek and French – now living in the US in the third year of my double degree between SciencesPo Paris & UC Berkeley, double majoring in economics and international relations. This is my first year on The Sunday Diplomat team as a Marketing Officer but I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me! I’m really honored to be working alongside amazing members on this podcast to bring forward new narratives, stories, and perspectives.
I’m Cassie, a student from Westminster School, London. Since 2023, I’ve been part of The Sunday Diplomat, first as Chief Operations Officer and now as Chief Executive Officer. Together with Julia and Luna, I’ve been leading student-driven projects that aim to amplify young voices, spark meaningful conversations, and make global issues more accessible to our generation. Through this podcast, I hope to continue that mission — bringing you stories, ideas, and discussions that inspire thought and action.
