With over one hundred staff members spanning six continents, The Sunday Diplomat brings together an international network under the banner of free thought. A student-run organization, the publication has grown into a global enterprise, publishing peer-reviewed news reports daily.
We have been featured by Imperial College London as “the largest sixth-form publication in the UK.” The Sunday Diplomat also partners with journalism professors at Northwestern, Stanford, and more in order to provide further opportunities for spotlighting the important work of our writers. Our work of spotlighting student journalism worldwide has been recognized by nonprofits around the world, including Student Voice, Astrid Nonprofit, and Global Investigative Journalism Network. As a student-run publication, we strive to educate students about the basics of journalism and the importance of ethics in the field. We have led workshops open to everyone, and distributed a free guidebook for online journalism in public schools around the world.
The Sunday Diplomat is proud to consistently produce original field research. We have published first-hand reports written by Ecuadorian refugees, Moroccan natural disaster survivors, first-generation college students from Nigeria and Kenya, and more. We have conducted exclusive interviews with NGOs like CivicAction and EMBRACE Youth Intl, only published on The Sunday Diplomat. Our Policy Research Department has also issued official policy proposals for use by the White House, Westminster, and other governments.
Supported by tens of thousands of readers from over one hundred countries, we promise to continue delivering the highest quality content. If you want to support the thoughts of a new generation, The Sunday Diplomat is the news site for you.
