India and Russia: An Unlikely Alliance

Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Russia to meet President Vladimir Putin. The meeting between two countries was of great importance because they availed an opportunity for the leaders of both nations to discuss many important issues regarding trade, defense and the welfare of the people. In this world where different countries have different opinions from time to time, India and Russia stand by each other on many global issues. In the past years, they supported each other in international organizations so as to help balance out the global power.

The Prime Minister of India paid a high-profile visit to Russia to hold the 22nd India-Russia annual summit with the President of Russia. The friendship between India and Russia played an important role in this as if India and Russia come together with a common motive, it may help keep the peace and encourage other countries to cooperate. Another milestone in this strong friendship of India and Russia was the visit of Honorable Prime Minister Modi. Increasing the volume of trade will help both countries benefit in terms of growth in their businesses and opening up more avenues for jobs. This can facilitate easier trade between Indian and Russian companies and make various products more available and affordable for consumers.

This meeting, leading to a connection, was done by both countries to lead the technological world, and together discover something that may prove helpful for the entire world. The visit is of significance as it points out the strong friendship and partnership that is between India and Russia.
